Arthur Elias Gay is a director and writer and a graduate of Columbia University’s MFA Film program, where he was the recipient of the Miloš Forman Directing Fellowship and the Katharina Otto-Bernstein Mentorship and Development Prize. His short films have screened at Quinzaine des Cinéastes, San Sebastián International Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and HollyShorts, among other international film festivals, and have received awards including Best New Zealand Film at Show Me Shorts. His upcoming debut feature, When the Goats Came, was selected for the 2024 Sundance Screenwriters Intensive and has since been selected for IFFR CineMart and the Gotham Week Project Market.
